  • Computer Science Engineer

    Job Title: Computer Science Engineer

    General Summary:

    The Computer Science Engineer reports to the Manager of Control Systems and is responsible for developing the back end and the front end for the control systems products.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
    • Work with the control system team to develop IoT related products.
    • Develop front-end and back-end for Controls, Files and WEB server.
    • Design and implement software tools for large data
    • Implement scalable, portable, and standards-compliant code

    Experience:

    To assist the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Management in ensuring the financial, operational, and in some aspects, administrative success of the organization. The Controller will work closely with senior operations management and must be results oriented, relationship driven and proactive with strong systems and communication skills.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger and delivery of a timely and accurate month end close.
    • Prepare and review month-end reports and financial statements.
    • Responsible for overseeing and reporting cash sources and uses including cash collections and accounts payable.
    • Calculate and report monthly commissions.
    • Oversee cost accounting and BOM accuracy by SKU/ITEM.
    • Oversee quarterly inventory counts and periodic cycle counts.
    • Prepare financial reports for presentation to Investors and the Board of Directors.
    • Interact with key operational management team and act as a liaison with all issues related to the financial matters of the company.
    • Prepare monthly and year-to-date actual vs. budget analysis with detailed explanations.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, reforecasting and consolidating information.
    • Manage and supervise staff.
    • Review internal controls and procedures for compliance with company policies.
    • Oversee audit and tax relationships with outside independent advisors; prepare documents necessary for audit and corresponding tax returns.
    • Responsible for compliance with bank/lending covenants and oversee the creation of the periodic compliance reports.

    Competency:

    • CPA preferred but not necessary.
    • Ten to twenty years of experience in either a publically-held or privately-held organization; Manufacturing/Costing experience is a must.
    • Experience leading the finance/accounting team, and interacting with senior operations management.
    • Excellent technical accounting skills — the ability to be hands-on, detail-oriented and comfortable with running a day-to-day operational accounting group.
    • A strong foundation in establishing and maintaining policies, procedures and internal controls to ensure integrity of assets.
    • Excellent system skills — experience successfully implementing ERP systems.
    • Proactive in initiating tasks that will add value.

  • Inventory Manager

    General Summary:

    The Inventory Manager reports to the Director of Manufacturing and works closely with the CFO to plan, direct and control activities related to the management of raw materials, components, tooling and equipment.  Manage the item master and maintain inventory accuracy, trash management and company truck scheduling and services.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the accuracy and availability of all inventory, raw materials, consumables, MRB, tooling and equipment
    • Communicate and coordinate inventory purchases with purchasing to avoid shortages and stock out
    • Lead monthly and annual physical inventories and cycle counting
    • Supervise Materials personnel and co-ordinate with the Director of Manufacturing the kitting of jobs for production
    • Manage and maintain the accuracy of the item master
    • Prepare and review reports regarding usage
    • Establish and direct a cost reduction program aimed at lowering overall inventory management costs, including stocking, shrinkage, breakage and waste

  • Shipping Manager

    Job Title: Shipping Manager

    Reports To: Director of Manufacturing

    General Summary:

    The Shipping Manager reports to the Director of Manufacturing and works closely with the CFO.  Is responsible for directing and controlling the movement of material and finished goods product through the facility, including the Receiving, Stockroom and Shipping functions, ensuring timely delivery of materials and processing of inventory transactions within the computer system to support both internal and external customer demands.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Maintain metrics for Weekly Audits, Safety, OTD, Cycle Count Accuracy, Stockroom efficiency, Shipping numbers, Premium Freight and others as assigned
    • Supervise approximately 1 – 3 direct reports
    • Maintain Warehouse functional areas and perform audits of those areas as required.
    • Support Lean improvement activities in all Warehouse functional areas
    • Responsible for cost out goals and reporting of actual cost out results within department
    • Responsible to work closely with all logistics/shipping carriers to consistently lower costs on a quarterly basis
    • Coordinate with outside suppliers for Kanban packaging materials
    • Resolves shipments in error with suppliers
    • Coordinate with Corporate Logistics and QC personnel to ensure adherence to policies for freight, carriers and reporting requirements
    • Coordinate with Quality Department for Source / Government Source product requirements
    • Maintain stockroom layout to maximize efficiency for kitting processes and ensure FIFO pulling of material
    • Responsible for quarterly review and disposal of Excess and Obsolete inventory per company guidelines
    • Responsible for Cycle Count accuracy, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies
    • Ensure integrity and audit capability of the Cycle-Count process to apply for waiver of ongoing annual physical inventories.
